Dr. Inga Fors was born and raised in Memphis, TN and attended Southern College of Optometry. Dr. Fors and has completed externships in Vision Therapy, Pediatrics, and Neuro Rehab Optometry in Chandler, AZ, and an Ocular Disease and Primary Care externship at Malcolm Randall VA in Gainesville, FL. Dr. Fors practices all aspects of Optometry but her passion is Neuro-Optometric Rehab for Neurological issues including stroke, aneurysms and Parkinson’s vision changes, Brain Injury and Concussion patients and helping children with behavioral and developmental disorders.

She is currently midway through the multiyear fellowship process for the Neuro-Optometric Rehab Association. She has testified in court cases as an Optometry and Neuro-Optometry medical expert. She previously worked at Midwestern University as adjunct in Neuro-Optometry and Vision Therapy clinics. She currently also sees patients at Banner Sports and Concussion Hospital once a week along with her work here at Active Eye Care of Surprise. Dr.Fors has been on several volunteer medical mission trips with SVOSH International to provide eye care in third-world countries including Mexico and Costa Rica. Dr. Fors has been in private practice since 2017 here in Phoenix, Arizona in specialties including Primary Care, Neuro Rehab, Pediatrics, Vision Therapy, Dry Eye Management, Ocular Disease and Contact lenses, she also does eye exams in Spanish. “I am dedicated to providing quality eye care and with your time and trust we will figure out any and all vision needs, your vision and eye care is my top priority”

In her spare time she loves hiking, camping and any and all outdoor activities that Arizona has to offer. She spends her off time with her dogs, keeping active and researching all health aspects and adventuring around all of Arizona and surrounding areas.
