Very friendly staff. Kathy the Optician was very helpful with the selection of my frames and insurance. Dr Fechtel is professional and has a calmness about himself which puts one at ease. I highly recommend Active Eyecare for your eye exam and eyeglasses. Another establishment that has 2 for one doesn't do as good a job on lenses as I've experienced.

The only reason I would not rate 5 stars is the fact when setting up the lense for progressive vision they don't use a machine it is still dotting the lense with a sharpie. Not optimal.

Specifically, when I did not know which letter chart in eye exam was better or worse , there was a true sense we were working together to find the right prescription to help my vision. So refreshing not to have a judgement of which eye vision chart was better or worse, true patience with working together. I have relied on glasses for 51 years.
